§ 01 · The room

This was never an office. It's closer to a home.

Co-work at CMNTY didn't start as a business idea. It started with a question of who you sit beside, and a hunch that the answer matters more than the address.

So we composed the room rather than filled it. Entrepreneurs and visionaries, changemakers and the people who build the businesses, gathered around ideas worth the trouble. Some are driven by impact, some by the business. Most by both. What they share is an idea they can't put down, and the seriousness to make it real.

Titles and pitches fall away. What's left is the work, and that's why it goes further here than at home.

§ 02 · Axiom

Three short proofs.

n = 3

FIG. 02.01

Closeness sparks conversation.

A room with sixty chairs makes it almost impossible not to overhear someone else's thought.

FIG. 02.02

Conversation becomes connection.

Returning turns contacts into relationships, not LinkedIn names.

FIG. 02.03

Connection sharpens the work.

Hearing others think out loud about their work makes your own clearer.

§ 03 · Rhythms

Four ways to be here.

Some come once. Some come Tuesdays. Some come every morning at 8:14 and leave their cup where they left it the day before.

Day. Drop in, work, leave.01 / 04For the once-in-a-while day
Week. Sit where it's open, often.02 / 04For the weeks the room calls
Desk. The same chair, every morning.03 / 04Yours, by name
Door. A private room for the team.04 / 04Closed when the work needs it

Which rhythm fits is something we work out after we've met. Pricing arrives with the offer, usually within two working days. Members already get a member's rate.

§ 04 · What the room holds

The room behind the work.

Wifi that works. Coffee that's good. Digital keys, meeting rooms, print, post, a desk of your own when you want one. Sixty members on the other side of the room. An office, basically. We just don't call it that.

If something specific is missing, say so in the application. A standing desk, a second monitor, a particular kind of quiet. We tend to find a way.

§ 05 · After hours

The room also opens for dinners, launches, salons, and the kind of occasion that needs a host.

§ 07 · FAQ

A few honest answers.

How does the application work?

A short form, two working days, and a reply with availability and a member's rate. If a rhythm doesn't fit straight away, we'll usually suggest the next one that does.

Can I try a day first?

Yes. A Day Pass is the quietest way to see if the rhythm suits. Mention it in the application and we'll route you there first.

How soon can I start?

Usually within a week of an accepted application. If you need to start sooner, say so and we'll see what's open.

What does it cost?

Depends on the rhythm and the start date. We quote with the offer, usually within two working days. Members carry a member's rate from here to Space.

What's the difference from Members?

Members is the community at large. Co-work is the workspace inside it. Co-work members are Members, with a chair and the keys to the door.

Can I bring a guest?

Yes. One guest per day on a Day Pass. Keep it under the speed of the room.
